Just because everything else about gaming has followed Moore's Law and has advanced far beyond its 8-bit precessors, that doesn't mean we still can't enjoy the good ol' days where fine woodsmenship ruled the day. Designed by Kansas City's Kem Studio on behalf of the New York-based lifestyle gaming brand SON, this controller features a solid walnut face with an aluminum base that work together to let those sweaty hands breath without losing any form. With complementary, height-adjustable joysticks and a beautiful deep finish, you'll have to guard this one closely. Availability and pricing still to be determined by SON, but you can learn more about the project at the Kem Studio site.
