Samsung has launched its slimmest smartphone ever, the Galaxy A8. Available only in China for now, the device sports an all-metal body that measures just 5.9mm thin and weighs a paltry 151 grams (5.3 oz). While the specs aren't nearly as impressive as the handheld's slim dimensions, they're more than adequate for the everyday user: underneath the 5.7-inch 1080p OLED display is a 8-core Snapdragon 615 chip and 2GB of RAM. Additional features include 16-megapixel rear camera and a 3,050mAh battery, larger than the one found on the Galaxy S6. Pricing is rumored to start at 3,499 yuan ($560).
