Tesla has just announced a range of upgrades for their Model S electric car, but one in particular deserves its own level of coverage: the introduction of a "Luuudicrous Mode." Complete with Ludacris music on loop before the announcement as ample foreshadowing, the new Tesla Model S feature will allow the attention-grabbing car to now go 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds, a full four-tenths faster than the "Insane" mode's 3.2 seconds. Their own combination of ludicrous and ridiculous, the package allows the car to now run the quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds, which is actually ample enough to out pace a Ferrari 458. Although the complete details of the kit aren't out yet, we do know that the upgrade package comes with an equally ludicrous $10,000 price tag. But, then again, we are talking about Telsa owners here. Reach out to your local Tesla dealer to learn more about this package and other new battery pack upgrades that are now available.
