If there’s anything that the Jack Torrance character taught us from The Shining, all work and no play is prohibitive to one’s well-being. With that in mind, Michigan’s Premier teams up with Saucony for a two-piece footwear collaboration that wisely celebrates both work and play. “Work” is represented by the Jazz Court, a retooled version of the Jazz silhouette, dressed in a monochromatic design — fit for the office but gussied up with reflective detailing — mounted on a cup sole. Its Shadow Master counterpart is built for after-hours wear, featuring Black, Grey and Seafoam hues. Both shoes have Premier branding on the tongue and Work/ Play tags on the mid quarter panels. They’re packaged inside a corrugated briefcase and include a branded notepad and pen. Retailing for $240, the limited-edition pack launches this Saturday, in-store at 9 a.m. and online (via Twitter link) at 11 a.m. EDT.
