Nike is gifting fans of its ’90s basketball sneakers with the revival of the much loved Nike Air Max2 CB 94 in a beloved OG colorway. Released in 1994, the shoe has purple accents reflective of Charles Barkley‘s season with the Phoenix Suns, and is widely regarded as the best of Sir Charles’ signature kicks. Along with the dynamic styling, the shoe features a combination of nubuck and leather on the upper, stabilized with a gusseted tongue and elastic bands. Inside is a neoprene sleeve for a snug fit, and cushioning comes courtesy of a visible Max Air heel unit. Available through overseas retailers like Afew, the kicks are set to arrive in U.S. retailers in the coming weeks.
