Porsche isn’t usually shy about revealing their latest toys, but they are being a little coy with their official tease of the new 911 and Carrera models. Hidden underneath a bit of strategically placed camouflage, the tuned eye will see refined head and tail lights, LED daytime running lamps, and new front and rear bumpers. It was harder to hide the new vertical engine vents, upgraded exhaust system with new, closer tips, and new fins for the front air vents. What was shown of the interior displays a peak at the driving mode selector and a slighter larger infotainment system. Porsche hasn’t confirmed what’s under the hood, but rumors point toward a 2.7-liter turbo six with 407HP for the Carrera and Carrera S picking up a turbocharged 3.4-liter. In the meantime, expect a full reveal of the Porsche 911 facelifts next month before the Frankfurt Motor Show.
