Following the success of “Maison Kitsuné Gallery,” the pop-up shop introduced last March in Hong Kong, Maison Kitsuné has set up permanent residence in the famous shopping district of Causeway Bay. Co-founders and creative directors Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki have created a unique 850-square-foot space, one imbued with a postmodern aesthetic that fuses the brand’s Parisian heritage with a subtle Eastern decor. The boutique aligns fashion, music and design, using industrial flooring, white walls with black and white tiling, oak shelving with white wooden brackets, and antique furniture sourced from Hong Kong. To celebrate the opening, Maison Kitsuné has refreshed its “Hongkongais” Capsule Collection, originally released for the “Maison Kitsuné Gallery” pop-up, which now includes two t-shirts in new summer colors, as well as a short-sleeved shirt and bowling-inspired chambray dress.
