As residents of the Emerald City have long known, Seattle is a great sports town, and its residents have been served by Nike Seattle, which recently underwent a major facelift. According to Vice President of Nike North America Direct to Consumer, “Nike Seattle was redesigned with this active and energetic community in mind, with the aim to deliver it our most innovative products and personalized services.” The sprawling store is located on Sixth Avenue and Pike Street, incorporating unique design elements that include a custom neon sculpture celebrating sport icons and Seattle’s cultural symbols. Additionally, the city’s fans — aka the 12th man — are honored with an art installation signed by Seattle Seahawks players. In-store offerings span running and sportswear products for men and women, as well as Jordan and basketball shoes and apparel for men. Premium services include run analysis, pant hemming and personal styling. Nike Seattle reopened today with an appearance by retired NFL quarterback and former Seattle Seahawk Warren Moon, and additional Nike athletes will make in-store appearances throughout opening weekend (July 31 – August 2). Be sure to stop by if you’re in the area.
