Last month, the news out of Ann Arbor had the University of Michigan ending its eight-year relationship with adidas to signed a new deal with Nike. Running through 2027, the record $169 million contract would see the Wolverines receiving $80.2 million in Nike apparel over the life of the deal, plus $76.8 million in cash. It was initially believed that the Michigan Wolverines basketball team would be donning the Jumpman as part of the deal, but it turns out that the university's football team will also be sporting Jordan Brand gear. (Get ready for the surreal sight of Jim Haurbaugh decked out in a Jumpman-adorned sweatshirt and khakis.) Michael himself welcomed the team to the Jordan family in a short video. Check it out below.
