Fred Perry has teamed up once again with acclaimed British designer Nigel Cabourn, who draws inspiration for the collection from the story of Fred Perry himself. Cabourn delved deep into the archive and discovered Fred Perry had trained with professional football clubs while preparing for the Davis Cup back in ’30s. The concept of “champions training with champions” became the principle inspiration for the collection, with standout pieces taking the form of he Stadium Coat, made by the Mackintosh factory in Lancashire, and the Heavy Oxford constructed from an open-weave oxford cloth. Training jackets, pique polos and a wool Goalkeeper’s Jumper round out the range. Shop the assortment now at Fred Perry’s online store.
