Even for the likes of MB&F, this Arachnophobia Clock is something totally eccentric and even almost unbelieveable. Instead of their usual stunning wristwatches, MB&F goes big with the creation of a large time-telling spider, complete with a complicated internal machine and eight creepy, life-like legs. The MB&F Arachnophobia is an appropriate name, measuring 40cm wide, its long slender legs are ready to secure to your wall with an innovative catch on the base or eerily stand on a table or desk. If you're brave enough to get close enough, you'll be able to admire the 218-piece modified L'Epée 1839 movement that tells time against a curving torso, which is manually wound and capable of holding power for up to eight days. To finish the design, injection-molded metal was coated in an 18k yellow gold or a glossy black with MB&F's signature numerals. Available in limited numbers - which is probably a good thing to those that fear them - you can buy the MB&F Arachnophobia for an equally-scary CHF15,300 (or about $15,900).
