In The Lobster, Colin Farrell stars as a divorcee who lives in a dystopic world that doesn't abide singles. They're rounded up and forced to find love in 45 days; otherwise, they're turned into an animal of their choice and released into the wild. (Farrell's character chooses the lobster, as the creature mates for life.) Accompanied by his brother, who has already been transformed into a dog, Farrell settles into a hotel for single people as the countdown begins. The Lobster -- awarded the Jury Prize at this year's Cannes film festival -- was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth) and also stars Rachel Weisz and John C. Reilly. It hits theaters in the UK beginning October 16.
