Mercedes-Benz took to the Frankfurt Motor Show to preview their next generation luxury model that will drive development of future S-Class and CLS vehicles. The design behind the Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA focuses on "world-beating aerodynamics," resulting a drag coefficient of only 0.19 thanks to an active electric aero panel system at the front and rear that gives this Benz a decidedly futuristic feel. The interior also features an equally innovative layout, with a big infotainment display large enough for all four passengers to see, four round center air vents, and two gesture control pads for two additional screens - one for live engine data and the other climate control. Power comes from a hybrid mix, a gas-electric system that produces 274 HP, which is strong enough to hit a max of 155mph with an all-electric mode range of 20 miles.
