Brabus has unveiled its upgraded take on the Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4², which now packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing an extra 78 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque. Consequently, the 3-ton SUV is rated at 500 hp and 523lb-ft of torque, with a top speed electronically limited to 130 mph to protect the all-terrain tires. On the exterior styling front, the Brabus G 500 4x4² gets new front bumper panels, mirror-polished underride guard and LED fog lights with chrome surrounds. Rounding out the details is a luxurious interior with seats draped in black Mastik leather with contrast red stitching, and an array of Alcantara and carbon accents. The Brabus G 500 4x4² will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
