Billed as a blend of the excitement and performance of a sports car and the practicality of a compact crossover, Nissan has just introduced their Gripz Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Boasting a compact body with an innovative and sharp design, a V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped headlights, and a floating roofline, the Nissan Gripz is as much a statement as it is a replacement model. No powertrain details were released, but it does contain a hybrid system similar to that of that Nissan LEAF and its smooth, near silent acceleration. The reveal was finished with a look inside the minimalist interior, itself inspired by bikes, complete with exposed tubes and door pulls shaped like saddles.
