Back in May it was announced that Jony Ive would assume the role of Chief Design Officer at Apple, and among his new duties would be the design oversight Apple’s retail stores. The first location to be created under Ivy’s direct guidance is the new Apple store in Brussels, which features the airiness of the typical Apple retail space. Similar details include large panes of glass and natural wood fixtures, complemented with new features: lines of potted trees, walls made with clay and brick, accessories housed in wooden shelving and benches near the Genius Bar.
