The latest Sneakersntuff collaboration is inspired by its two co-founders, Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson, who regularly traveled to New York in the late '90s to hunt down rare sneakers they could sell back home in Sweden. During their frequent trips, they always took two things: their passports, and the voluminous black duffle bags they used to transport the sneakers. Those objects are now the twin inspirations for the Sneakersnstuff x PUMA "Adventurer Pack," comprising the PUMA XS850 "Peter" and PUMA XT2+ "Erik." The former, done up in a tonal black upper built with thick ballistic nylon and premium suede, gives the nod to the duffle bags, while the latter carries a combination leather and suede turquoise upper reminiscent of old Swedish passports. One week ahead of the release of the pack, Erik and Peter returned New York City. They took to Instagram to announce locations where they would give away shoes from the pack as a way to say thanks to the city that started it all. Check it out in the video below, and expect the pack to launch September 26th at all Sneakersnstuff locations and online.
