GoPro is set to release a new budget action camera, the HERO+ Wi-Fi. Retailing for $199.99, the model slots right in between the base HERO+ ($129.99) and the more expensive HERO+ LCD ($299.99). On the outside, the new HERO+ Wi-Fi resembles the base model, but users will be able to record at resolutions up to 1080p at 60fps, compared to just 30fps on the entry-level HERO+. The camera can also take 8-megapixel stills, and it's waterproof down to 40 meters (131 feet). The new HERO+ also offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, meaning you can use your smartphone to frame shots, change camera settings and easily share videos. Other features include QuikCapture, SuperView wide-angle FOV, HiLight Tag, AutoLow Light mode and an integrated microphone. Look for the GoPro HERO+ Wi-Fi to release October 4th.
