It is being reported by multiple outlets that Apple has set their sights on building a third corporate campus in Silicon Valley, finalizing plans for another curvaceous, spaceship-like building in Sunnyvale, California. Expected to be a 777,000 sq/ft and enough space for as many as 3,000 staff, the move would further Apple's reach in the Valley, almost matching their current 850,000 sq/ft headquarters in Cupertino and further adding to the first 2.8 million sq/ft "spaceship" campus under construction. Based on the sketches, the design aims to retrofit a collection of nine individuals buildings first built in the 1950s and 60s, linking them together in a way that mirrors the spaceship campus just three miles away, featuring plenty of green spaces and natural light.
