The latest release from the Porsche family comes in the form of these turbocharged 911 Carrera 4 and Targa 4 models. Building on the made-over Porsche 911, these new Carrera 4 Coupe and Convertible and Targa 4 models feature a similar design, but further accentuated with 44mm wider rear wheel arches, a new tailight strip, and a modified powerplant. In each case, power is provided by a new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 370 HP and 331 lb-ft of torque in the Carrera and 420 HP and 368 lb-ft in the S variants. Targa fans will also find the model's signature wide bar that combines roof convenience with style, allowing the roof section to open and close with the push of a button. Buyers will also have the choice to further outfit their Porsches with a PDK and Sport Chrono Package that helps the Carrera 4 hit 62mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed from the series hitting 305 km/h. Rounding out the newly unveiled trimmings, Porsche included an improved all-wheel drive system and an adaptive Porsche Active Suspension Management chassis with a 10mm lower ride height that comes standard. The new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Targa 4 will be launched first in Germany beginning in January 2016 with prices starting at 103,983 Euros.
