After a storied history, Mitsubishi's long-heralded Lancer Evolution is being discontinued. But before the quick and nimble four-door rides off into the sunset, Mitsubishi has decided to go out with a bang, launching a Final Edition. Based on the GSR model, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition will boast a 2.0-liter, 4 cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 303 HP and 305 lb-ft of torque, controlled with a 5-speed transmission and Brembo brakes. A Bilstein shock and suspension system, Eibach springs, and the brand's Super All-Wheel Drive control system also comes standard, as does the modified visuals, which include a black painted roof and a range of colorways: Pearl White, Rally Red, Mercury Gray, and Octane Blue. Joining the paint job, dark chrome Enkei wheels, a glossy bumper and air hood outline and grille appear in dark chrome while the interior matches with similar flair. There are only plans for 1,600 of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition to launch in the U.S., each individually numbered, for $37,995. Hit the Mitsubhishi site to learn more.
