Jordan Brand has gone all out this year with its 30th anniversary celebration of Air Jordan, exemplified in Shanghai by the Jordan House of Flight. Within that impressive edifice are a number of installations and fan experiences dedicated to His Airness, and a key piece takes the form of a large mural by the Hong Kong based artist and vinyl toy designer Michael Lau. The two Michaels go way back, as Lau had previously designed a series of figures dedicated to No. 23, as well as a stylized portrait of the basketball icon as part of 2011’s “Just Done It” exhibition. Check out detailed images of his piece for the Jordan House of Flight in the following pages, featuring scattershot images drawn from Michael Jordan lore.
