Here in the U.S., shoppers attempting to purchase any of the three colorways of the Supreme x Air Jordan 5 were relegated to a screen and keyboard. The cancellation of the in-store release was a precedent seemingly set by last year's disastrous Supreme x Nike Foamposite NYC launch, which was ultimately shut down by the NYPD. That wasn't the case at Supreme's brick and mortar stores in London and Japan, where in-store purchases went on as planned. It's absolutely no surprise that the highly anticipated launch drew massive lines. Thanks to the people on scene at the premises, we get unfiltered scenes of the controlled chaos. Check it out below.
