Detroit’s Burn Rubber has teamed up for the first time with PUMA, and the silhouette of choice for the inaugural collaboration takes the form of a special-edition PUMA Stepper. The low-profile silhouette is inspired by Michigan Central Station, the now defunct train station located in the Motor City’s historic Corktown neighborhood. Featuring a two-tone grey leather base with a beige padded collar and translucent outsole, the shoe takes design cues from the tones of the building — at one time the largest rail station in the world — as well as the structure’s surrounding landscape. Look for the kicks to launch through Burn Rubber’s online store starting at 12 midnight EDT on October 31.
