If you initially though this KTM ION was a gas-powered motorcycle from Tron, you shouldn't feel frustrated; this newest creation takes the best of that world and shapes it into what really could be the future of urban transport. Built around the company's own electric engine design, each KTM ION electric bike has a very futuristic and unique carbon fiber frame that fixed, yet lacks wheel suspension due to the innovative concept of flexible wheel spokes. Designer Daniel Brunsteiner also borrowed the concept of a thick rear tire from aggressive street bikes along with bullhorn handlebars, a leather saddle seat with integrated tail lighting, and a plug-in 260V battery. Available now in both a white and a black colorway, there's no doubting this thought experiment just may help shape the future of motorcycle and cycling design. Learn more here.
