The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) Design Store has announced its first ever pop-up shop at Art Basel Miami Beach, a joint venture that also includes a third collaborative partner, the Delano Hotel, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Highlighting the immersive installation is a limited-edition series of skate decks featuring artwork by Andy Warhol, made in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The skate decks, on display at the Delano from November 30 to December 6, include a set adorned with the late pop artist's signature Campbell’s soup cans, along with triptychs featuring Gold Marilyn Monroe, Guns, Car Crash, Self Portrait and Detail of the Last Supper. A percentage of proceeds from the sales will be donated in support of Skateistan, an international NGO initiative that empowers children in third-world countries through skateboarding and education.
