Here's your first look at the new 2017 Cadillac XT5, billed as the first member of the company's new Crossover Touring line-up. Replacing the SRX, the new XT5 boasts sound base styling with the ability for a range of customization and add-on packages. Inside, it's packed with the latest in infotainment goodies, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto paired with five different interior colors and finishes, including carbon fiber, wood fiber trim, and aluminum accents as well as an optional heads-up display system. Outside, 18 or 20-inch alloy wheels work with a large upright grille and stylized headlamps for a distinctive look. US drivers will enjoy a 3.6-liter V6 engine with a start/stop system and 310 HP while Chinese consumers will see a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. However, both will see eight-speed transmissions with noise and vibration reduction systems standard and optional all-wheel-drive. The official presentation of the new 2017 Cadillac XT5 will come at this month's Dubai and Los Angeles auto shows ahead of its spring 2016 production run.
