Ronnie Fieg and his team look to the military for its new KITH Ops collection, a wide-ranging apparel assortment comprising original KITH silhouettes, collaborative Nishikawa outerwear and Ronnie Fieg footwear. Specifically, the goods are inspired by vintage 1940s military pieces sourced from Ronnie Fieg himself. A faded and war-torn aesthetic is achieved through a new washing technique on the tops and bottoms, each constructed from cotton ripstop or chemical washed terry for a unique utilitarian look and feel. Uniform details include a connective thread of stitches, patterns, and hardware, resulting in a cohesive appearance. On the footwear side, there are two Ronnie Fieg collaborations: two Filling Pieces and two Fracap’s, with the former using an all-new silhouette dubbed the RF-Mid II. Check out the lookbook in the following pages, shot in Tokyo by renowned photographer 13th Witness, and modeled by Junya Matano (of Caminando) and Poggy Kogi (of United Arrows & Sons). Look for the KITH Ops collection to launch 11 am EST on Friday, November 13, at both KITH locations and online.
