Joining the arrival of the XDiavel DVT at the 2015 Annual EICMA Motorcycle Show is yet another offering from Ducati sure to please new and old fans alike: the 959 Panigale. A smaller, more comfortable, and slightly more affordable, but just as menacing sportbike from the Italians, the Ducati 959 Panigale replaces the 899 model from the family and also sees a displacement bump for more fun during everyday riding. The new engine sees an additional 9 more HP and 6.2 lb-ft of torque over its predecessor, resulting in a total of 157 HP and 79.2 lb-ft. As with its bigger brother, the 959 comes with adjustable ride modes, traction control, ABS, a quickshifter, and electronic engine braking as well as a number of aero tweaks like larger air intakes and a quieter exhaust system. The 959 Panigale will be available in traditional Ducati red with black wheels or in Arctic White Silk with contrasting red wheels. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
