Aside from his pioneering efforts in the world of streetwear, BAPE founder NIGO is famous in memorabilia circles for his vast collection of Star Wars toys and collectibles. Now, in partnership with the famed auction house Sotheby's, the designer will be putting up for bid a vast array of his Star Wars rarities. More than 600 action figures will be sold, including some extremely rare models: a Skywalker double-telescoping figure, which was quickly pulled from store shelves due to the choking hazard presented by the lightsaber (it's valued at an estimate of $12,000-$18,000), along with tri-logo action figure of General Madine (one of 12 known examples in the world, its estimated worth is $10,000-$15,000). Aside from the action figures, there are Darth Vader helmets, vintage posters, Stormtrooper blasters, autographed lightsabers and a Jabba the Hutt cookie jar. The auction goes live on December 11.
