With a deep racing heritage, Porsche didn't have to look far for inspiration for their latest LA Auto Show reveal, which sees a race track-focused Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport packing plenty of heat. Although this Cayman GT4 Clubsport doesn't see any changes to the already-powerful 3.8-liter flat-six engine borrowed from the "stock" GT4 road car, Porsche did swap in a lightweight rear suspension, a steering wheel-mounted paddle and PDK transmission system, and a 911 GT3 Cup race car welded roll cage in place of the usual cabin niceties. While three sizes of fuel tanks are available, all Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport models will enjoy race-tuned brakes with 12 available ABS adjustments and an adapted ESP system to work with racing slicks. This LA Auto Show gem will be sold directly by Porsche's motorsport arm, beginning at about €110,000, and will also be modified for future world sportscar races in the year ahead.
