The Unveiled BMW Compact Sedan Concept Previews the 1-Series Sedan
With the reveal of their new Compact Sedan concept at this year's Guangzhou Auto Show, BMW has previewed their upcoming 1-Series Sedan. The concept itself has an exclusive Liquid Metal Bronze exterior with pigments that shift between light and dark as light hits its body, which has been updated with a sporty front fascia complete with a kidney grille and LED headlights. Flared wheel arches and stylish 20-inch wheels complete the exterior updates while soft-touch handles that open the doors as they are pressed was clearly a nice enhancement. Inside, the interior of the BMW Compact Sedan Concept looks like the rest of the family with a wood and aluminum dash, Nappa leather seats, heads-up display, and a panoramic glass roof. There's also a 8.8-inch display to the free-standing infotainment system. There's no word yet on technical or performance specs, but a variety of engine and drive systems are expected. Check out the BMW Compact Sedan Concept and the future of the 1-Series Sedan in more detail below.
