Originally debuting as a Toyota concept car at last year's Paris Motor Show, the crossover has re-emerged as the Scion C-HR concept at the LA Auto Show. (It's set to show up in production form next year at the Geneva Motor Show.)  The C-HR name is derived from "Compact size and High Ride height," using a a four-door hatchback crossover-style that seats five and is aimed at "yuccies" -- Scion's regrettable term for "young, urban creatives." Along with 21-inch wheels, the vehicle employs Toyota's New Global Architecture (TNGA), an integrated approach to developing new platforms and powertrains that feature a lower center of gravity, increased body rigidity, more responsive handling and improved ride comfort.
