A veritable San Francisco institution teams up with a premier Fog City retailer, with Unionmade putting its own spin on the 1944 501 jean from Levi's Vintage Clothing. This special edition repro is made entirely in San Francisco and recreated to exact World War II standards. Due to wartime rationing, Levi's did away with the watch pocket rivets, crotch rivet and back cinch, and the signature back-pocket arcuates were painted on rather than stitched. Each pair is built with White Oalk selvedge denim with one-of-a-kind surplus pocket bags. The jeans are available in limited quantities exclusively at Unionmade locations and online.
