The Nike Air Max 1 Gets a Tonal "Metallic Pewter" Finish
For designers of the Nike Air Max 1, a shoe that's been around since 1987, it may be difficult to think of new tricks for this particular old dog. But a new "Metallic Pewter" colorway has enough unique details to breathe new life to the vintage silhouette, including a distressed metallic finish on the mudguard. The material is applied in combination with a mesh base, shiny textured leather on the quarters and a tonal suede treatment on the signature Swoosh. The kicks are available now through Nike Sportswear retailers in Europe. Stay tuned for word on a stateside release.
