Kyrie Irving suffered a fractured kneecap during Game 1 of the NBA championship in 2015, and in the wake of the injury, the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard didn't cut back on training. Instead, he added a new series of isolated, weight-bearing dynamic exercises in the gym, complementing his on-court workouts. His fast-track recovery regimen included sweating every single day with his trainers, starting at 6:30 a.m. for two and a half hours prior to team practice at 10:00 a.m. His workout gear included Nike Dri-FIT fleece shorts, Nike Pro Cool 3/4 tights, Nike Lunar Caldra trainers, and, of course, the Nike Kyrie 2. Irving to made his season debut yesterday against the beleaguered 76ers.
