Samsung's Tiny SSD Packs 2TB of Storage

Samsung delivers 2TB of storage small enough to carry around in one's pocket with its new Portable SSD T3. Housed in a silver and grey aluminum case, the device weighs in at 51 grams and measures in at 74mm x 58mm x 10.5mm. It uses Samsung's reliable vertical NAND (V-NAND) memory and is capable of read/write speeds of up to 450 MB/s. It also packs a USB 3.1 Type-C port instead of a standard USB B port, but arguably the most significant feature is the expanded capacity, as the T3 will be available with 250GB, 500GB, 1TB or a massive 2TB of storage. Look for the device to launch in February 2016.
