The streets of Detroit may be far from the deserts of Baja or the lawlessness of an apocalypse, but the new 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept revealed at this year's NAIAS is ready for them both. Based on the 2016 Titan XD, the next-level extreme pickup is built with what the brand bills as a "Modern Armor" exterior, offering a beefier, wider body and three more inches in height. Those new dimensions allow for large 37-inch off-road tires, which work with the matte-gunmetal "Thunder" paint with "Magna" orange and black accents for an aggressive appeal. New LED lights in front and the rear also help with the menacing look, working with shaped quad exhaust tips and aluminum skid plates for a rugged look. Inside, things are far more cozy; offering carbon fiber, leather, and polished chrome along with a large infotainment system. Rounding out the design, power for the concept comes from a turbodiesel 5.0-liter V8 Cummins engine that generates 310 HP and 555 lb-ft of torque, which looks to be a lot of fun to drive judging by the video below.
