Last week in Florence, the Fall/Winter 2016 collection from adidas Originals by White Mountaineering FW16 collection was as the "Designer Project" at Pitti Immagine Uomo 89. A total of 25 models revealed a collection blending the performance DNA of adidas Originals with the singular aesthetic of the outdoors-inspired brand from Tokyo, White Mountaineering. The brand’s signature panel construction was seen across a range of silhouettes, including varsity jackets, zip-up sweats and athletic track pants, while tonal color palettes and extended cuts emphasized the collection's fashion-forward edge. New details underlined the collaborative process, seen in the transformation of the signature three-stripes into a V-shaped chest motif and sign-off graphic, along with an all-over camo exemplifying White Mountaineering's form-meets-function approach to style. On the footwear side, attendees were treated to the updating of various classic models, including the Forum Hi, Rod Laver and EQT Running models, joined by new silhouettes like the Formel 1, Seeulater and NMD. Look for the goods to launch in August 2016.
