New Balance has opened its first standalone store in Berlin, located in the German capital's popular Mitte district. The shop spans two floors, with the ground floor focusing on innovation and performance -- including Fresh Foam, Vazee and NBx models -- and the second floor offering lifestyle collections, which appear right at home among building's original ceiling moldings and wooden herringbone floors. In addition to footwear, the store will also offer an extensive collection of innovative clothing from the football and tennis ranges, along with gait analysis for runners through Stride ID, New Balance's own technology that matches footwear to feet. To celebrate the launch of the new space, New Balance has launched a strictly limited Made in the USA 998, inspired by the German flag and the city of Berlin. Only 26 pairs are available globally.
Be sure to visit the shop if you're in the area.
