In probably the most contentious and exciting final match-ups in NBA Dunk Contest history, Aaron Gordon came in second place to Zach LaVine. Well, if you just judge it by points. After going toe-to-toe for eight straight spectacular dunks in the final round - all scoring perfect 50's- LaVine's improvised fifth dunk beat-out Gordon's ad lib. Just barely. Because you can't saw the trophy in half, you have to admit that Gordon - as ESPN put it - is the most amazing runner-up ever.
