Kanye West has a penchant for arranging Saturday Night Live performances to accompany the launch of new music, and the rapper held true to form by taking to NBC's legendary Studio 8H over the weekend, just days after debuting The Life of Pablo at Madison Square Garden. The episode, hosted by Melissa McCarthy, saw Kanye perform "Highlights" alongside Young Thug, The-Dream, A$AP Bari, and R&B singers Kelly Price and El DeBarge. His second number, the transcendent "Ultralight Beam," featured The-Dream, Price, Kirk Franklin and Chance the Rapper. For added measure, Ye took part in a pre-filmed comic bit that centered around a rap battle between West and cast member Kyle Mooney. Check out the clips below.
