Last week Converse unveiled an ode to punk culture with special makeups of the Chuck Taylor All Star '70. The silhouette is featured once again on a new homage to punk rock, made in collaboration with the esteemed English tailor, Sir Tom Baker. The shoe is embellished with an asymmetric alligator flock print, reminiscent of the crushed velvet fabrics used in Tom’s suiting, offset by a lamé sheen yarn upper. Additional details on the all-black design include soft goat leather on the toecap, ankle patch and heel stay, along with the line "Do What Thou Wilt, So Mote Be It" printed in pink on the midsole. The Converse All Star Chuck '70 Sir Tom Baker launches in limited quantities beginning on Friday, February 19, at Converse First String retailers and online
