Nike's FLYEASE entry system was introduced last summer on the LeBron Soldier 8, created by Nike designer Tobie Hatfield in response to a letter by teenager Matthew Walzer. FLYEASE featured a wrap-around zipper that opened up the heel of the shoe for ease of entry, and once zipped, delivered a lockdown fit without the need for tying laces, perfect for athletes who may require extra assistance. Formerly available only on the LeBron Soldier 8, FLYEASE will soon extend to three new silhouettes, the LeBron Soldier 9, Pegasus 32 and Flex Run.
The LeBron Soldier 9 FLYEASE for kids and adults is available now in some markets and on Nike.com, and globally beginning today. The Pegasus 32 FLYEASE and the Flex Run FLYEASE for kids and adults are scheduled to launch April 1 and May 1, respectively.
