The big news surrounding the event is the return of the 4-inch iPhone, first releasing in 2012 as the iPhone 5. This new model, dubbed the iPhone SE, is expected to look nearly identical to the iPhone 5s. The similarities quickly end once you peer under the hood, as the new device will pack Apple's new A9 and M9 chips, as well as NFC capability to accommodate Apple Pay. The modern features also extend to the camera, as users can expect the 12 megapixel shooter, complete with 4K video, borrowed from the iPhone 6s.
9.7-inch iPad Pro
This new 9.7-inch iPad model is essentially a smaller iPad Pro, marrying the iPad Air 2's design aesthetic to the iPad Pro's features. Similar to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro that launched last November, the new model will sport quad-speakers around the sides of the tablet. Inside is the A9X processor and RAM upgrades from the 12.9-inch model, in addition to a Smart Connector, allowing for self-powered keyboard attachments and input devices. Speaking of which, Apple will release a compatible Smart Keyboard attachment for the 9.7-inch version, which will also feature support for the Apple Pencil. Rumors have the camera matching the 12 megapixel sensor of the iPhone 6s, with 4K resolution.
New Apple Watch Bands
Expect new Sport Bands featuring refreshed colors for spring, a space black version of the Milanese Loop, and NATO-style nylon bands. There's also some speculation that Apple will also announce additional band color options from the Hermès collaboration, along with a new band partnership with Incase.
