Last night, Nike founder Phil Knight appeared on the Late Show couch to plug his new memoir, Shoe Dog. He chatted with Stephen Colbert about his company's humble origins, as well as its relationship with Michael Jordan. Wrapping up the segment, Knight presented Colbert with a custom pair of Nike Air Prestos, printed with various images carrying personal significance for the late night television host: the eagle from his old Comedy Central show, the South Carolina flag, the likeness of author J.D. Salinger and more. Asked if the shoe would make him want to exercise more, Knight replied that it would make him "exercise better." Check out the clip below.
