Radiohead Unveils New Video, "Burn the Witch"

The precursor to a new album?

Radiohead hasn't issued a new album since The King of Limbs from 2011, but there's an indication that a followup is forthcoming: the reclusive band has unveiled the video for a new song, "Burn the Witch," featuring stop-motion animation set in a pastoral English village, with hints of sinister goings-on culminating in a scene seemingly lifted from the cult film The Wicker Man. "Burn the Witch" has been circulated as a bootleg among Radiohead fans for years; this version is grounded in strings that evoke guitarist Jonny Greenwood's tributes to the Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. With an impending world tour and the release of a new single, here's to hoping that a new album is also on the way.
