A Gumball Team Created a Lamborghini-Powered Batmobile

Arguably the best thing about the Gumball 3000 is that the event occasionally yields some awe-inspiring creations. Take, for example, this Arkham Knight-inspired beast, based on a Lamborghini drivetrain and mounted on a custom chassis. It features a custom-molded carbon fiber body and unique fixed wheel covers. Under the hood is a 5.2-liter V10, borrowed from a Lamborghini Gallardo. Details include fully independent front and rear suspensions, made with double wishbones connected to coil over shock absorbers, along with ABS supported 8-pot Brembo calipers up front and 6-pot in the back, all connected to big brake discs. The car was built for Team Galag by a Swedish outfit named Caresto, founded by Leif Tufvesson, who helmed Koenigsegg’s development department for 15 years. Check out more looks in the gallery below.
