With 158 years to their name, Villeret, Switzerland's Montblanc still has a trick or two up their sleeve. One of their latest cutting-edge pieces of work is also one of the world's lightest: the 40mm Montblanc TimeWalker Pythagore Concept Watch. Weighing in at just 14.88 grams - that's about the weight of a CD - the feat was pulled off thanks to the use of new, lightweight composite materials - carbon fiber and kevlar - combined with skeletonization to create a dynamic look with a silky matte appearance. Its colorway is actually inspired by World Badminton Champion, Montblanc brand ambassador, and Chinese athlete Lin Dan, who needs lightness on his wrist with elements from Dan's career and his country throughout the design. Stay tuned for pricing and availability; until then, see the watch up close in our gallery below.
