A preview of Y-3's Fall 2016 footwear collection reveals two themes seemingly at odds with each other, notwithstanding both are drawn from the '90s. One is the high energy sensibility of rave culture, the other is the understated minimalism that's Yohji Yamamoto's signature. The result is an eclectic mix of fashion-forward sneaker models, ranging from electric orange trainers to grey streamlined runners obscured by a zip-up shroud. Shoppers can also expect to see familiar favorites like the Qasa silhouette, rendered in both High and mid-calf Boot styles. Scroll through the entire lineup in the gallery below.
